Imagine there is a God and that God wants to judge me.
Certainly, I have done wrong and harmed people I love as well as people I don’t even know.
But, if I am to be judged by God, I will not claim Jesus as my lord and savior. Jesus was an innocent man. I could not stand before God while allowing an innocent man take my punishment. I will be accountable for my actions. To stand there and allow an innocent man to take my punishment would feel so wrong. I cannot imagine that it would please God in any way, if God is actually just.
There is no justice in killing an innocent man for the sins of the guilty.
